We are extremely grateful to all our staff who are working diligently to keep Paxton Hall residents well and safe during the pandemic.
Paxton Hall has been in lockdown mode since 16 March 2020 when rigorous infection control protocols were introduced swiftly and adequate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) purchased to prevent an outbreak of Covid-19 in the Home.
To enable residents to keep in touch with their loved ones, the Home’s considerable digital resources were enhanced promptly with additional IT equipment allowing residents, with the help of staff, to use video tools like Whatsapp, Facetime and Skype.
Staff continue to keep abreast of the numerous new and updated guidelines which are constantly being issued by the government, NHS and other statutory authorities. This has resulted in several new and updated procedures having had to be implemented within the Home, and staff having had to be trained. .
The pandemic has meant considerable additional work for staff who have risen to the challenge admirably.
